De Roy holds a MSc. Degree of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy and a Master of Education in the same field, both from the University of Leuven, Belgium. He has 18 years of experience serving leading roles in Sales, Marketing and R&D for global leader in non-invasive orthopedics, Össur. Dr. Gudny L. Oddsdottir, PhD

Board of Directors

Gudny Lilja is the Manager of Academic affairs at School of Medicine (PT´s) at the University of Iceland. She is a licensed Physical Therapist and has a PhD in Biomedical science. Graduated with BS and MS degree from the University Iceland and certification in Manual Therapy from St. Augustine, Florida, USA. Her Doctoral thesis addressed the movement control of the cervical spine and objective mobility assessment method for the cervical spine. Artur David Udrescu has accumulated a vast amount of international experience working both in USA and in Europe and then starting his own private ventures. He has a degree in International business from the University of Southern Alabama. Dr. Eythor Kristjansson, PhD

Founder / R&D

Dr. Eythor Kristjansson,PhD  is a physical therapist and graduated as manual therapist from Oslo, Norway in 1987 and was acknowledged as specialist in manual therapy in 1991. He finished his PhD in 2004 from the University of Iceland in co-operation with the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia about “Investigations into the stability system of the cervical spine”. Jona Marin Olafsdottir, PhD

Director of Research

Jona Marin Olafsdottir has a PhD in biomechanics from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. She is a mechanical engineer and an experienced researcher in experimental and computational biomechanics. She studies the complex biomechanical behaviors of normal and pathological human joints and focuses on generating smart solutions for orthopedic treatment and rehabilitation. She has collaborated with industry and academia in both Europe and Canada, including Volvo Cars, Autoliv, and UBC. Her research on the neuromuscular mechanics of the neck has generated novel data and numerical methods for musculoskeletal models simulating human movement.  Her e-mail is JMO@NeckCare.com

Sandra D. Arnadottir, PT

Mobility Assessment Program

Sandra D. Arnadottir is a licensed Physiotherapist and fronts the NeckCare Mobility Assessment Program. She graduated from the University of Iceland with a degree in Physiotherapy and has served as such since 2004.
Her focus has been on sport physiotherapy, both prenatal and postnatal. As an energetic fitness instructor serving as the National Gymnastics coach, she also ran classes for postnatal rehabilitation focusing on prenatal aquatic exercises for reducing pelvic girdle pain. Sandra Y. Dagnyjardottir

Mobility Assessment Program

Sandra Y. Dagnyjardottir is a Master degree student and she earned her B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from Reykjavík University in 2016. She has been working extensively on quality and regulatory related issues and at present time she leads the NeckCare Mobility Assessment Program (MAP) that provides critical objective mobility measurements for both PT´s, MD´s, Law offices and Insurance companies alike. Arsaell Thor Johannsson

Senior Software Engineer

Arsaell Thor Johannsson is an experienced Software Developer & Operations Manager with an MSc. in computer science. He has over 20 years of programming experience and +15 years of professional experience in software development and system operations.
